Steam does require an Internet connection. Minimally you just need to activate a game on Steam and maybe DL some updates if you have the game on a DIsc. Otherwise you will

have to DL it through Steam since it is a digital provider as well. You can play the game without an Internet connection though in offline mode. However, I believe most games will disable multiplayer in offline mode. Singleplayer usually still functions.

Yea thanks, I had some issues with downloading the pc version from the mac steam account, planned on using it with wine port thingy, but I resolved it (I hope)- Ill find out once the game has downloaded
