Ok, another post in another thread got me thinking about this and now it’s stuck in my head.

Is it possible to make a H2H only character … that survives with no armor? I know Khajiits get a H2H bonus. I can find a certain pair of gloves, disenchant them, but can I put that enchantment on regular gloves (I don’t what to wear any armor)?

I suppose some magic is ok, as long as it’s that mystic type of magic you see monks use in movies and such. No destruction magic, just other stuff. So far all the mages I played used destruction and conjuration almost exclusively to fight with, so none of either as I want to try something different.

So, can this be done? Can you actually punch a dragon to death? Is there anything else that would help here or is this a lost cause?

You can't have amazing hand to hand skills. For two reasons.

• There is no H2H SKILL.
• There is no amazing unarmed anything in Skyrim

I doubt it. I got into a fist fight with a troll last night and didn't do squat to it. Granted I'm playing an Altmer and didn't wear the Pugilist Gloves. I just don't see hand to hand doing enough damage to take down any heavy hitters.

I'd go for it though, maybe it'll work out with a Khajiit using alteration, restoration, and enchanting (to make unarmed gloves and a ring). If not, then at least you'll know and can move on to another build.

Are you on PC LeBurns? Skyrim Redone lets you specialize in H2H fighting.

The only way I was able to make a successful H2H char was with heavy armor (because of the perk Fists of Steel) and the Gloves of the Pugilist enchantment. he was actually pretty powerful in the early levels, especially when sneak is added. in the higher levels he died easily though (like 30-40). He was fun while he lasted though . I don't know about doing it with no armor though...

Yeah no 'unarmored' skill and no 'H2H' skill in Skyrim kind of kills this type of build it seems. Also no 'Agility' to dodge attacks.

Even if I went heavy enchantment and could eliminate most of dragon breath damage it would still just eat me while I punch it's nose. I'll check out the mods, but it doesn't seem very feasible unfortunately.

Shame since some of those H2H killcams are pretty cool.
