Essential Companions

Without mods, has anyone been able to find any Essential Companions?

The one I have found was in the KotN questline, but are there any others I've missed?

Geimund, and his brother Gukimir are, as with all prospective Knights of the Nine, essential until recruited. When you talk to them they will ask if they can join. Say yes, and when you leave conversation they will both walk into the Priory. If they get inside they don the Crusaders equipment and are no longer essential. So, when you exit conversation with one brother, talk to the other before he gets inside, and you will be able to tell him to follow you. He stays essential.

Then if you have a high enough conjuration and armourer skills, you can reverse pickpocket bound armour so he looks more substantial.

In the mages guild quest for Skingrad Erthor is essential. He will follow you anywhere until you return to the Skingrad guild and complete the quest.

Martin is essential and after Kvatch he will follow you anywhere until you return to Weymon Priory.

There is also Maglir from the fighters guild quest line.

I never bothered to go anywhere with Martin, other than straight to Weynon Priory.

Is there a follower cap, like in Fallout?

Also, after Weynon Priory both Martin and Jauffre will be essential. They will both follow you around Cyrodiil until you take them to Cloud Ruler Temple.
