Tribunal hard?

Hey everybody! Long time Morrowind player here! Unfortunately I never got much into the main quests of them. I'm currently sporting a lvl 38 Wood Elf Assassin which is geared to the teeth as far as equipment available in the core game. I thought that since I've basically cleared the base game and topped all the guilds (except for obvious quest conflicts), that i would move on to the expansions which I was excited for because it's going to be unseen content for me. Spoilers aside, i got pwned in the Mournhold sewers… more than once. Am I doing something severely wrong or is there just an extreme difficulty gap? The DB assassins down there aren't a joke...

what exactly was killing you? the DB, or something else? it has been a while since i played through tribunal expansion but i do remember the DB having a lot of paralyze and monsters having reflect and ect effects that made it alot more difficult to get through. but yes roughly tribunal is harder you have to change up the tactics a little bit for the expansions.

The fact that the DB often paralyze you can be a huge problem.
Ranged battle, or lots of ways to cure paralysis is your best bet.... Or just run for it

A strong enchanted weapon also helps you deal more damage in short time.

The new dwemer enemies can also be very deadly. Same tactics apply.

Bring LOTS of health potions.

And just keep thinking to yourself, "Hey, at least they aren't werewolves" ;)

Spoiler
The werewolves in Bloodmoon can destroy you like crazy.

good. so its not just me. lol I'm running around right now trying to pawn off all these expensive weapons and armor and I'm going to deck myself out with enchantments. I think i want to go the route of training enchant with the master and self enchanting my stuff. the first enchant will pay for all the training itself. The DB was what was killing me and the paralyze was the biggest annoyance. they hit hard too.

Level 38 is quite high.

I usually try to visit Mournhold after lv. 15 and usually get my ass handed to me by goblins. Their swords do devastating damage.

And let's not even start with the black dart gang.
