All right, so, I've been freezing. Outside Ravenrock. Just outside the Bulwark.

I can load this save file up, run to the vicinity, and freeze every single time. I've cleared the game cache, the system cache, waited 30 days in an interior cell, and even uninstalled/re-installed the DLCs.

The thing that makes this so strange is that this isn't the first character to have this happen. It's actually happened to at least 3 characters before this. The thing is, the only characters it happens to are the ones I make to replace the characters that this happens to. It's maddening. Since they're basically the same character, I do a lot of similar things, but I can't imagine what's going on outside the Bulwark that's making it freeze. On this save, I did the quest that stops the ash spawn attacks, and the quest that stops the thugs from ambushing you after you hang around Neloth a while. So there really shouldn't be anything going on out there. I just don't get it.

And I'd like to make clear that they're all different, fresh characters. I'm not using an earlier save. But... it doesn't happen to any of the others I've made. Just the ones that follow this same archetype.

Any insight into what's going wrong, or what I'm doing wrong, is welcome.
