What GPU (Graphic card) do you have ???

---------------

If you have a Nvidia, put Texture Filtering - Quality: High Quality in your Nvidia Control Panel, and Skyrim -> Skyrim Options -> Detail -> Shadow detail: High

or if you have a ATi set Mipmap Detail Level: High Quality

AMD 7870HD 2gb with latest drivers

I do not see "Mipmap Detail" in the Catalyst options under Gaming.....would it be called something else or in another section??

OK, it should be under (left panel) Gaming (3D application settings) - (right panel) Texture Filtering -> Texture Filtering quality -> Change it, from standard to high quality.
