Is there a way to change key functions without actually going into the game? I somehow managed to accidentally remapped the esc key and made it the quicksave key. Now I can't quit the game or make new hard saves. I have to remove the disc and use task manager to exit. I'm on a laptop with windows 8.1 if that matters.Thanks for any help.

System Restore maybe?

Delete the ControlMap_Custom.txt file that is in your Skyrim folder.

As mentioned above, either System Restore or deleting the keymap file and restarting the game will sort this. However, you can force quit the game at any time in the console (use the ~ key) with qqq
