The Great war and WWI

I noticed that the Great war and WWI have some things in common, i just want to hear what people have to say about them.

?Both involved two separate congregations of countries. (i'm counting individual provinces, not the AD or the Empire)

?They both ended with an unfair treaty forced upon the loser without their say in what happened.(the White-Gold Concordat)

?They both ended with high tensions and a treaty that is clearly only temporary.

?The loser lost quite a lot of land and recourses.(that is to be expected with a war though)

I know that at the beginning of the great war, there was no flurry of alliances coming into action, like the beginning, of WWI.

Tell me what you think about these wars.

The same can be said for almost any war in history.
Because war, war never changes.
