I was thinking about how great it would be to have Rage 2 for my Xbox One but then it occurred to me that Rage has been my favorite game to play since 2011. So I asked myself, wouldn't you rather get Rage BFG edition? If they took the game that is already built and added more content to it I would reserve a copy today. Id studios could do what Edios did with Tomb Raider and release it for next gen. Bump it up to 1080p 60fps extend the ending, add more side missions, and create two new locations to visit. Gun Barrel and possibly a new clan hideout to hit along the way would be great. Throw in another buggy a few new weapons and you have the makings of a great game. Why start from scratch creating something new when you have assets already built? All the new content and extended alternate ending would be a selling point for people who played Rage and better marketing would sell it to knew consumers. Maybe this is just a fan of the game talking but I can see it making plenty of money to warrant a release on new gen consoles.
