Character Creation Advice Overhaul Mods

Hello there!

This is my first time posting in these forums. I've lurked around for a while now, and I'm currently about to undertake another serious Morrowind playthrough. I heed your advice :spotted owl:

I am planning on replaying Morrowind with a heavy deal of mods onboard. I want to get some opinions on developing an balanced character that will not implode on its own roleplay value.

So, I'm going for MGSO with BTB's Game Improvements and a bunch of non-mechanical stuff like Less Than Generic NPCs. In this point I don' know if running alongside with Morrowind Rebirth would be such a good ideea in terms of compatibility - both functional and by vision. (Any opinions here on the stated combination would be much appreciated).

I feel like an introduction to BTB's mod is necessary, because of the way it changes the importance of initial skills. The thing is that BTB mod makes the starting choices much harder to take, because the Major skills raise like the Vanilla Minors, the Minors raise like Vanilla Misc, and Misc are put to full stop, only to be raised by books/trainers. It meant to avoid the 'perfect leveling' min-max style of gameplay, and shift the focus on a specialized char with roleplay value. Alongside, it completely retweaks the entire spectrum of Birthsigns-Spells-Alchemy-Enchanting-Economy to the point that it overhauls the experience into one mostly impervious to functional exploits. It's based off Hot Fusions and Wakims Game Improvements, for those who know them.

So, I play a sort of Witchhunter type of char, wishing to play Hlaalu/ Thieves Guild (?)/ Morag Tong and quite possibly the Tribunal Temple.

I have this right now:

Dark Elf/ +Strength, Luck / Warrior Sign / Stealth Specialization.

Major: Marks, Alchemy, Mysticism, Light Armor, Security
Minor: Short Blade, Block, Illusion, Medium Armor, Athletics.

I'm thinking that Short Blade should be replaced with Long Blade/ Blunt (also for faction requirements ) or going Spear / Light Armor with maybe Armorer for Strength. Acrobatics is governed by Agility in this mod to avoid hopping around to increase Strength (like most of us did  ).

Anyone get the gist of what I'm trying to build? Other opinions maybe on a Combat Rogue / Mystic variation?

Cheers :thanks:
