So yeah I've been working on trying to make playable dragon tails to go with my horns mod. Well I've run into a bit of trouble. The tails are stiff.
So for starters I took the dragon mesh and deleted everything but the tail, and then used bone weight copy to copy the weight painting from the Argonian male tail, and then I parented it to the skeleton and exported it (plus any other steps I needed to do before exporting it).
I went through the usual nifskope conversion thing to get the mesh into game and then I made my esp and got all the tails in game. The problem is though that when I have my character wearing it, it just stays stiff.

I figure I should mention that I'm using the XPMS Skeleton (the defualt weapon placement chesko BFQ skeleton), and I use FINIS as well, though I'm not totally sure if either one would have anything to do with this and it wasn't just something I did wrong. Some help please?
