the thing about the crafting skills is that you can, for example, create a potion that make you better at enchanting and while on the effect of said potion you can enchant gloves to make you better in alchemy so you can repeat the process to reach absurd numbers, and in the end enchant an armor thats makes you 10000% better at smithing.
If you want to stay clear of that I recommend to avoid fortify restoration and fortify effects. personally I think your base skill is more than enough to make good items, so no need to fortify enchanting, smithing or alchemy (unless you're in early game and feeling weak).
