Game of Thrones inspired characters

Post » Wed Jun 11, 2014 3:02 pm

So, duh, I'm a GoT fan and have decided to make some builds based on GoT characters because I felt like it. :P Here's what I have, anyone got any suggestions on how to better them/ make other characters?

Jon Snow - Nord - Warrior

Weapon/Armour - Grey Heavy Dawnguard Armour, Boots and Gauntlets, Steel Sword (Skyforge if you're cool like that). No helmet.

Main skills - One-handed, Heavy Armour, Block, Smithing.

Secondary skills - Archery (crossbow)

Factions - Dawnguard, Main Quest (personal preference here), siding AGAINST the Forsworn during TFC, Empire (just fits with my Jon Snow's character ark)

Ygritte - Breton - Archer

Weapon/ armour - Skaal clothing, Steel dagger, Forsworn Bow (swap out for Dragonborn later).

Main Skills - Archery, Light Armour, alchemy (poisons ftw)

Secondary skills - Smithing (arrows gotta come from somewhere), Sneak, Lockpicking, One-Handed

Factions - Forsworn (duh), Stormcloaks (character ark), living it up with the Skaal sometimes, the Companions.

Khal Drogo - Redguard - Warrior

Weaon/ Armour - Fur armour (topless), Leather Boots and Bracers. No helmet. Nordic sword.

Main Skills - Light Armour, One-handed, Smithing

Secondary Skills - Not too sure, to be honest. He's got a horse, does that count?

Factions - The Companions, the Stormcloaks, kicking it up with the Orc strongholds.

These are just quick brainstorms (except for Ygritte, made her and she's fun to play). Does anyone have any suggestions to improve these characters, or have you made your own GoT characters?

Heavy armor seems a bit out of place for Jon Snow.

Some other potential fun GoT character builds could be:

  • Gregor Clegane
  • Jaime Lannister
  • Arthur Dayne
  • Oberyn Martell
  • Loras Tyrell
  • Rhaegar Targaryen
  • Barristan Selmy

I always saw a little of Aela the Huntress in Ygritte. Or should I say a lot... hot, determined and head strong. Not afraid to go toe to toe with anyone.

Spoiler
to bad she died :(
I would see her as wearing skaal armor a lot. While Breton/forsworn seems appropriate... a nord wouldn't be a bad choice for a race either. The Reach closer to Haalfingar is much like the rocky snowy land portrayed in the series.

I think her build would be fun and of course you would need to align her with the forsworn faction to make things interesting.

any of the Lanistars would need to be imperials in my opinion...

Though you know in regards to Jon. I think wolf armor would be perfect for him. Considering he has one. And he would seem to use both the one hand and two handed swords.

I'd say that Ygritte would be a Nord. Doesn't get much more nordy than the Free Folk.

very true. but the oppression of the wild folk almost seems like the reachmen. Not the forsworn, but pre-Markarth incident. For me its a toss up lol

Across the narrow sea would be Cyrodiil and below that would be Hammerfell (can't remember the names off the top of my head)

The Dothraki being like Orcs.

Cyrodiil would be the southron lands- King's Landing and the Reach. They're the snooty ones imposing their religion and culture on other people and pretending to rule.

i think Dothrak would be better suited in clothing than armors as they dont like armors.

They would be pretty fun with some poisoned weapons. I wonder if there is a Frog Spear mod out there.

But if you're not killing the children, is it really Game of Thrones?

true.

but this type of discussion is forbidden on the forums so be careful what you say in regards to harming kids.

There are GoT mods out there that actually have GoT inspired armor. A GoT style Skyrim loading screen as well as replacer mods that change the jarls to look and be named after key people in GoT. There is also a GoT shields mod which I like to use. The Stark shields are pretty sweet looking.
