QuakeconFallout: honest question

Post » Wed Jun 11, 2014 6:03 am

I gotta admit I don't know much about Quakecon, but as I understand it, since purchasing Id, Bethesda runs Quakecon. So my question is: Do games typically get announced at Quakecon? If so, considering that Bethesda runs Quakecon, would it make sense for them to choose to announce Fallout 4 at their own convention? Or is that just an unrealistic hope? Thoughts?

Hey friend. http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1501992-fallout-4-speculation-suggestions-and-ideas-204/

But if I had to give you my two cents. I would imagine Bethesda revealing Fallout 4 at this December's Spike VGA's following an aggressive showing of the game in the following year. They seem incredibly systematic in regards to their marketing strategy... and seeing as how Skyrim's paid off so well.. i think they'll follow suit with Fallout 4.

I think Quakecon is mostly for games using Id related engines like Wolfenstein and Doom. Zenimax probably acquired it because Softworks has been publishing those games now. I doubt anything Fallout related would be showed there but anything's possible.
