This may seem a strange question....

coming from me, at least. :P

A few months ago I *cough* joined Facebook (with the idea being that it would be another point of contact with someone, but that remains to be seen... different subject) and have done little with it. However, a relative or two of mine had bugged me in the past that I should join FB, but I had no interest, and now only four people that I 'know' (two 'friends', sister, work supervisor) are aware that I have a FB page. I've been thinking about reaching out to one of my relatives (which would then lead to other relatives knowing about it..big family), but there are a few things that I have posted (poetry of a slightly romantic nature perhaps :whistling: ) that I wouldn't want them to know about...

So, my question is- is there a way that I could block previous posts/uploads (which are already 'friends only') from being seen by any future 'friend' additions without having to delete them? ..Although I sometimes wonder if I just should anyways, sorry, different subject. I don't want to block everything, just a few bits.

There is a way to make filters for certain friends.
It's been awhile since I've done it, but the options are there.

So yes, you can hide images/posts/status from people that you rather not see it. Just poke around in your security settings and/or options until you find it.

I don't know how to block previous posts, but it's possible to block then from seeing any future posts.

Check status settings or your relative's page setting.

They already know how to find out most everything you do anyway, logging into facebook probably makes you seem like one of them and puts you under the radar. :P

Yea, I've already noticed that FB seems more about 'look at what so-and-so did' rather than any modicum of privacy. Just trying to limit any stupid questions for right now. :hehe:
