why were the dawnguards taking on the grey-beards? Not only are they essential but they will shout you off a very high point...

Well, I was off visiting them to see if they detected a word wall. Because I was using Better Vampires, two Dawnguard members and a Vigilant of Stendarr spawned. The first time that happened, I got killed due to friendly fire. The second time, I let the Greybeards kill them.
