Armor glitch possibly - need opinions

I have played Skyrim heavily through all of it's DLC, sold it after DB and came back to it now since I have more time available. I've noticed recently that when I wear Steel armor on my character, my 2 handed sword sits too close to my back and it will clip into my body. This was something I never had trouble with and (beside the horrific Nordic Armor) not many other armors do this but there are some that do. I was curious to know if anyone else had the same issue?

Also, this is something I've noticed from day one of playing this game. When you put certain clothing on, you can see a visible change in your characters posture; usually your arms get svcked in funny at the elbows and you walk without a swagger, but more stiffly (this is for male characters). When this happens, if you have a two hander equipped, your weapon will clip through your back pretty badly. There is some clothing that doesn't cause this (like the fine clothes typically don't) but most of the regular clothing does. Does anyone know why this happens?

Finally, I can't remember what patch it was, but at some point, the character creation screen became fubar'd. Specifically, a lot of the sliders have issues, notably the character size slider. You can freely adjust character size, but when you leave that tab and come back, the tab will be on the far left (the shrimpy side). If you go down to it and move it, it will move one tick to the right, and your character's size (assuming it was on a setting to the far right) will jump downwards, and you have to reset it again. This happens sometimes with facial sliders as well, but they actually reset to the right position when you go to them. Anyone know when this happened and if it has an adverse effect on the game? Could this be causing the clipping I'm experiencing now?

edit: Basically, I just wanted to know why these postural changes happen at all and why clipping is such a huge issue in this game. I was curious to know if people think this will continue to be an issue or if they will get it figured out for their next game. Anyone with technical insight or expertise, your opinions and comments are appreciated!

Odds are they just didn't work on each individual piece of body armor and two hander to make sure they don't clip. It gets to you if you play 3rd person.

I didn't think that's how it worked... don't they just have a model and they make the armor adjust to the various body sizes? It seems like the armor might be mismatched for the model at certain points. I've never played a female character, but at times, I wonder if maybe the female skeleton isn't attached to clothes/armor for the males, because it seems like when that scenario occurs where the arms of the male character get tucked at the sides, it is almost like flipping a switch. I also find it strange that this problem seems to have gotten worse since I came back to the came after my hiatus. I typically only had this issue with certain pieces of armor on certain characters, now it seems so pervasive and all over the place.

I'll swear if Beth aims for some luckily we are at the point where you can't aim for a 16/16/16 release date, because I really want them to polish their next game to an insane sheen when they release next. You are right when saying that this stuff really bothers you if you play in third person (like me). This and other little quirks have quickly become the bane of my existence.
