Size of Maps

I know, generally, the size of the Elder Scrolls maps. 16 sq miles for Oblivion seems too be the majority's belief. Then 14 sq miles for Skyrim, which feels much smaller than Oblivion so I think that's taking flattening the mountains into consideration. Morrowind ranges anywhere between 6 sq miles and 10 sq miles. Daggerfall is something absolutely huge and Arena is apparently incalculable.

But I have no clue on Fallout's sizes and have been curious for a long time. The general consensus seems to believe that 3 is smaller than Oblivion, but not by much, leading me to believe that 3 is 14/15 sq miles, which is the same as Skyrim. New Vegas has many differing ideas and I'm not sure at all on its size. I haven't played 1 or 2, so I don't have the slightest idea on them.

I was just wondering if anyone could clear this up for me. Give your own beliefs on the game sizes.

New Vegas and 3 have roughly the same size map, though 3 has more interior areas so is the "bigger" game overall.
