Shegorath, prince of madness, Vile, and even the prince of plots were hearing calls from the mer, over the condition of men. Many were petitioning intrigue agianst them, praising Boethiea, praying to Vile and talking to the father of all madmen.
Back then, you see, Humans and Mer were of one body. Both male and female, bound to eachother, two hearts, four arms and lehs, two or one (mutant) head and an assortment of other features that would define them. Procreation was rapid. And all was at peace.
Convinced, the king of plots, power, and imiganition hatched a scheme, and put into action, as the first humans entered Nirn, chaos would be rapid eneough to change their bodies, to split them on two.
Auriel watched. And was deep in thought. No intervention would provoke xonflict surely, but yet he could not easily support the forign adgenda, while his childern were suffering. So he decided to not intervine, that is, until one day.
Lorkhan, the ultimate king of plots. Could not bear the disarry. His childern were attacked! Assulted, and defiled in their seperation. Could not stand the depreration. So he marched in the home of Auriel. He forced upon an ultamanium, and a nargin, many bargons in fact, that would stand the test of time and define both Men and Mer and many species of life.
Lorkhwn and Auriel already tense, became tenser after the agreement with Loekhan. Vile was stopped, denied satisfaction of victory. Dieblla was tasked, of all the many gods, to keep the memory of the unity together. As love. Sanguine, was one of the first to play upon this arrangment, deeply seat on par with Boethiah, as she could only compete and compete, constantly keeping love away and sanguine, always tempting. Shegorath was dealt with Auriel himself and foretold to keep away from the creation of Mer and men. Lorkhan was pleased, but did not stop until the Mer fealt this pain, he had felt. This is considerred a contributing factor to the war and conflict in Atmoria
