After playing Old World Blues I got a notice my head could no longer be crippled even after I did the main thing you need to do to get out of the Big Empty.

Today I was hunting deathclaws in Quarryjunction and one came up from behind me taking a swat at me when I looked at my pipboy my head was crippled.

How can that happen what am I missing?

What i found is that your head can still be crippled, but keeps regenerating itself. I've had my head crippled and then 2 seconds later it wasnt anymore, so that may be the case.

However, if the crippled head persists after the battle, then there is something definitely wrong, as in a glitch because your head should definitely not stay crippled (unless of course you took your brain back at the end of old world blues). Not much i can say to it, im not sure how you'd go about fixing it if it were glitched like that.

Thank you for the quick response to my question. I healed the damage with a doc bag right away since I had a deathclaw to deal with.

I will have to test your idea the next time I receive a head crippling blow. I won't heal it an see what happens. thanks again.
