Set player camera zoom level via script?

So for a spell I'm making, I'm having the script force the camera into third person when it's active and back to 1st person when it's inactive via forcethirdperson() and forcefirstperson(). But when it transforms to third person the camera is really closely zoomed in such that the player model takes up like 80% of the screen, which looks really bad (it's the closest zoom option short of first person I believe).

Is there a way to also set the camera to be a little bit zoomed out in addition to being third person? Sort of like the werewolf and vampire lord transformations. Thanks in advance.

Also, is there a way to change an actor's movement type to underwater even when it's not underwater? Basically "swim in air".
