Hello everyone. I was recently at an arcade-ish establishment with a game called After Dark DLX by Universal Space (based in China or Hong Kong I think). I'm fairly certain a ton of the assets in After Dark originated from Skyrim. I have created this thread to call attention to it and present evidence.
Whether this game has stolen the assets or is using them with permission, I do not know.
Here's a link to what I assume is the company's website featuring the game: (can't post links, google search "after dark dlx" and it should be the first result)
Here's a youtube link to the video featured on the company page: (can't post links, youtube search "after dark DLX" and it should be the first one, uploaded by UNISGames)
In this video, you will see what I believe to be
1. Werewolf (0:20)
2. Chaurus (0:59)
3. Draugr (1:14)
4. Dragon (1:37)
5. Hagraven (1:41)
6. Vampire Lord (1:46)
Here's a video uploaded by some guy I don't know, from a hand camera: (can't post links, youtube search "after dark DLX" and it should be the third one, uploaded by casinobillionaire)
7. Windhelm symbol on the throne, possibly the entire throne (0:26)
8. Falmer (0:36)
9. Skeletons (0:54)
There's a ton of other things I noticed that I don't have video for, and some stuff that looks a ton like stuff from Skyrim, but I can't tell for sure. Other people more familiar with the game, and who play this game in person or watch other youtube videos, can probably point out stuff and confirm things such as:
Torches
Roots, random moss and other foliage
Wooden Chest
possibly some stone textures
some of the weapons (notably, one of the skeletons had a draugr helmet and an Ancient Nord Greatsword)
possibly some of the doors
lightning AoE effects from the winged Hagraven?
I feel like there's more stuff that I saw, but have forgotten. I was able to play it with a manager's card, so I don't know how much it would cost (if you're good at rail shooters, 5 or less credits, not so good probably 5-10).
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy looking at this. If anyone has any questions about the game, I'll be happy to answer.
EDIT: I have PM'd Gstaff. Also, thank you Terash Cas for linking the website and first video.
