Big Battle AI Package

??Hi there everyone,


I always like having big battles in Skyrim f.e spawning 60 men there 80 men there and fight on one side attacking or defending. But one of my major issues is the AI. It just seems so unimmersive when I've just spawned my men at their position and the moment the enemy charges they all break their position and attack...

To fix this I took a look at the existing default AI packages more specifically the Hold Position AI package. I figured if I made my own based on the default one, set it's location to near self with a radius of 10, they would hold their position until the enemy is right in front of them and THEN they attack but of course they still charge the enemy like they have a death wish.

So my question is would anybody know if there is a way I could edit my NPC's so they hold their position when under attack, but still defend? Sort of like the movie 300 where the spartans kept holding the gates instead of, if they had Skyrim AI, charging the Persian ranks resulting in a quick death.

To give you a sort of better understanding of what i'm asking I've uploaded an image made with my fascinating paint skills :tongue:. http://postimg.org/image/m63mxrw8d/ As you see when the charging enemy is still on the blue line my NPC stands still and holds it's position, but when the enemy is on the red line, in front of my NPC, he attacks while holding his position.

I would be grateful if someone could help me as Skyrim battles are the only thing that has me coming back to it because I've done everything there is to do already.
