Quick question-PS3 and dlc

Post » Mon Jun 23, 2014 6:41 pm

I've got the ultimate version. I don't like how the dlc was implemented. I don't like people in skyrim dying because the dlc vampires and cultists are attacking them every time!

I want to know IF I purchase the normal version of Skyrim and the Dragonborn and Hearthfire seperately ..Sorry I don't like Dawnguard.. Done it twice.. Thanks but no thanks.

Can I then Install the Dragonborn dlc when I wish for each character or uninstall if I don't want to play it that game? I like Hearthfire -aside from begging orphans- It would stay in all

the time. Only Dragonborn would need to be uninstalled for characters that are not going to Solstheim. Just wanting to know before I spend my money .

Thanks for any helps.

Hopefully in understood your question right.

With regular ol' Skyrim, you can install each DLC individually if you want. Dragonborn and Hearthfire on your case, if for example you wanted to install Dawnguard later, you can.

Uninstalling is a bit more tricky. In order to uninstall DLC, you pretty much have to uninstall the entire game, install Skyrim, and the DLC you want. It's usually not recommended to uninstall a DLC you're currently playing through though as it can break your game.

Thank you very much Shadow_Titan17. :icecream:

In this case, how then to get the vampires/cultists to stop attacking? There aren't that many people in Skyrim to begin with and they are killing them!

to get the vampire attacks to stop (or, at least severely drop in number depending on which side you pick), beat the Dawnguard Questline

to get the Cultists to stop, beat the Dragonborn questline

The cultists stop as soon as you go to Solsthiem, the vampires however are relentless until you finish the DG questline.

If you don't go into towns at night they aren't bad at all. Vampires can't attack if you aren't there.

Not yet, but I'm planning on starting a new character and playing all content soon. MQ, Companions, College of Winterhold, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Bards College, Daedric Quests, Side Quests, Hearthfire, Dawnguard, Dragonborn, etc.
