Names Hippnotic. Recently, I've come across ALOT of issues with my current vehicle. And it's digging more and more intbo my pockets.

Basically, getting to the point I can't keep my 360 anymore sadly. So I'm wondering if anyone here has any knowledge as to backing up save files and the such. I have 7-8 years of time invested into my 360, tons of GoD's, Arcade games, and a crap ton of Add-ons for games.

And with GTA V being remade, it makes me (HOPE AT LEAST) that Bethesda is remaking Skyrim for X1/PS4 and we can transfer our saves (again HOPE). If that actually happens I don't want to be arsed out.

Now, I've tried some programs but it seems to mess with the files once they hit my computer. Help?

OPTION 1: Plug in a portable hard drive or USB key into your console. Go to memory/storage devices and select the device you plugged in. There should be an option to format it (this will erase everything on said portable device). From there, you game manually go to each save file, select it, and move it over to the new device.

OPTION 2: similar to the above, but move saves to the cloud storage. This will need internet access.

*to "move" a save. Go to it from the storage--->HDD menu and select it. an option, alongside DELETE, should be copy and move. Either or will work. Pick one, then you'll be prompted to choose a storage device.

As for your profile, as long as you're connected to LIVE, it'll be automatically backed up

If you have bought stuff on your account will you be able to download it again on the One?

Just read the OP more closely. Um..most of the addon's and stuff wont work on the One. Neither will the GoD or arcade games :/ But since you bought them, you can always re-download them on a different 360 at any time.

You GTA 5 online save is auto-backed on the Social Club server already, and SP campaign save is non-transferable.
