I've recently started a new save of Oblivion on the xbox 360 and the game was fine for a while but recently as soon as an enemy hits me they use the attack again and again and i get stunned. they still stun me when i block with a shield. I am currently at level 14 is this a normal thing or a glitch? because the difficulty setting is as low as can be but all the enemies do is Spam me with attacks until I'm dead.

i am just wondering how i can avoid this (other than getting the first hit) or if there is a chance that i might be poisoned or ill.
