Hi guys, I've been having this problem for a little while now and it's getting kinda exhausting, I'd like to know if anyone has any solutions

Basically, after a while, when I load up Skyrim and load my save game, the game will freeze, stop responding, and not respond again. I try loading from older saves, but the same issue. I try deactivating mods, same issue. I try a new game: same issue. I try verifying the game cache, and still the same issue

Then I eventually give up, delete my saves, uninstall all my mods, and do a fresh install. Then skyrim starts behaving again, for a while. It's completely unpredictable when it will give up the goat, it works flawlessly for days then one day I try and it's just not working anymore. Nothing will have changed from one day to the other, it's just not working anymore.

Any ideas what could be going wrong? Because doing a fresh install is a pain in the butt, because I have mods (namely interesting NPCs) that take a very long time to uninstall and reinstall. I get little time to actually play the game so would be nice if it works when I want it to!

You don't use Nexus Mod Manager for your mods ??? It's very easy to install and un-install your mods that way.

All i can thing, is you have obviously incompatibilities with your mod collection, so - after a while Skyrim becomes problematic.

I assume you use the correct load order, and did the cleaning procedure. (where appropriate)

It's always good to play offline, disabling your antivirus and background programs as well. (it helps sometimes)

No I use NMM, interesting NPCs is just a huuuuge file (like 3gb or something) so takes a long time to install and uninstall.

Yeah I've used BOSS and more recently LOOT to order things, and have run TESVedit to see if there are any incompatibility I'm missing, sigh.

I'll try disabling as much in the background as possible, maybe that'll help a little, thank you~ :3

Beyond this, this mod seems to be very simple, so normally you shouldn't have problems with that.

Just keep an eye, if you want to uninstall it.

1. Dismiss all followers from this mod if you have any
2. Go to the location without any NPCs
3. Make a save to the new slot (just for sure, if something goes wrong), and uninstall the mod through NMM.
4. Possibly recreate all your patches like Bashed patch, Dual Sheath Redux patch, Merged patch, ReProcer patch...(so any of these esps which could be dependent on this file can't cause any problems, or CTDs.)
