Sky above, Voice within.

Hello, everyone. I've done a bit of research on this phrase, –by which I mean I googled it and checked the search button ;)— and I've been debating its meaning.

Does it simply mean "As the sky is naturally above, our voices are naturally within." or is it more of a deeper idea? I've been considering one of the terms for the Nords, "Children of the Sky" and decided it may be a play on this, "As the sky is above, (and also are we) so come our voices within." to denote the gift of the Voice by the dov who are aedra and fly, but I'm not sure.

I realize this is a possibly vague phrase, –should I be overthinking it– but I'd appreciate your thoughts. Feel free to direct me to a similar thread if I missed it.

Finally, I figured this would be more of a lore discussion as it refers more to the Nords as a race and their culture specifically. But I understand if it's moved. Thanks.

The former, I guess. The sky is above you, as your voice is within you. To comprehend the sky, you would look up. To comprehend the Voice, you would look within. It's a sort of truism, I imagine.
