Yes, this game, compared to the Argentina vs Switzerland, was more entertaining. I almost fell asleep with the other game.

Effffff. Man, talk about an entertaining game. And to see all the support for the USMNT, it just tells me those that say soccer could never survive in the USA are idiots. Go USA

Yeah, but we knew our offense svcked coming in... Why do you think there was so much belly-aching about Landon Donovan being left out? (I'll say I wasn't one of those). But people knew we needed any weapons we could get.

Yeah. Belgium was the other team I was most interested in anyway, and I thought it was too bad they had to go head-to-head against the US so soon. But oh well. I picked Argentina to win everything, but I won't be heartbroken if Belgium knock them out.

One thing I forgot to mentioned is that I'm glad the referee didn't mess up the game. He did a rather good job.

I don't think the US played well on defense. They'd be down 4-0 if it wasn't for Howard. Still though, I'm proud of this team. They fought till the end. Just need to find some quality attackers and do a better job at keeping the ball and we'll be in good shape.

And I got to give it up to Ochoa. He's been amazing in this world cub. I'm only saying this because Howard da gawd is done and completely overshadowed him.

Edit: Oh yeah, Mexico lost too. Almost forgot about that.
