Independence Day.

Happy Independence Day, America!

I'm not much for fireworks; mainly because I live in a lake community that only sees an influx of people from the cities in the summer. Which to them it's fireworks day all summer and by the 4th I'm sick of them.

Also, I figured if Canada could have a thread about their Independence then so too should America. If you've got anything negative to say about it you can move on.

People should take this time to thank a soldier for protecting our freedoms and give thanks to those who made it all possible so long ago. Maybe take a little time to read the Declaration of Independence that was written so long ago by our founding Father's.

If you're going to be setting off fireworks, do be careful and also show a little respect to your neighbors. Too often people go over board and become disruptive. A few hours of explosions in the sky is fun and OK. But if you think it's OK to continue throughout the night it's disrespectful and inconsiderate.

Anyway, have a safe and happy 4th of July and remember those that gave all.

Today is the day we celebrate when Will Smith saved the Earth from alien invasion, and for that we are thankful.

I'm a pacifist, and don't believe that violence solves anything. Well except Draugr. Violence solves virtually all Draugr-related problems.

On the plus side, at least the Lobstah and fish were relaxed enough to catch.

Meh, I'll just sit back and watch people get arrested for shooting off illegal fireworks around me.

Happy 4th of July Murica!

I can't wait till later, My friends dad has a yacht and we're gonna watch the fireworks on it! (And party a little).

On a side note...My father takes this day way too seriously. (;?_?)

My American eighth probably takes it seriously, the rest of me thinks "woo, fireworks and unhealthy food, yay!" Enjoy yourselves.

Never seen anybody get arrested for that. That's not to say it doesn't happen, just that I've never seen it.

I'll probably be heading out with friends later to get a little trigger time in, then head out for some good old fashioned barbecue afterwards.

Of course I'll probably be kept up with fireworks going off all night long.

Happy Independence Day! Don't worry, my Canadian brothers and sisters up north. Soon, we'll free you from the oppression of British Tyranny and you too will get to share in our independence!

I hope everyone here stays safe and has a good time today. I'm not exactly sure what's going on myself other than stopping by a few places to visit family and friends.

Honestly, I only remembered today was special for America because of the Missile defender in Generals.
