I am playing through the Dawnguard thread and now need to fin the Elder Scroll (dragon). My problem is that I have not received the quest to get this and (because of this?) SS's Outpost does not appear on the map - so I cannot find my way there.

I am being directed to the Librarian at the College of Winterhold (Urag gro-Shub) but all he does is mutter on about the eye.

What am I missing? I have visited Parthanax again but he does not offer any help.

How do I get this quest?

Progress with the College quest until Urag talks to you normally, either that or look up where the outpost is and travel there by putting a marker on its approximate location.

You can find the place without asking around. It's almost directly north of Winterhold, but oh so slightly to the right
