I just installed Fallout 3 GOTY. When in conversation my audio often not does not play. It seems absolutely random. Sometimes I would click on a conversation option and audio would play, but other times it would not.

I have a built-in realtek audio card and I use Windows XP pro.

I tried associating ogg files with Windows Media Player, but that did not fix the problem.

Apparently, the problem was with wrong sound card drivers installed on my system. I installed the correct drivers and no more audio problems for me.
