I've had an issue lately with NPC's that should have the ArmorIronNoHelmetOutfit instead being nvde, except for boots. One example being Jon Battle-Born. I've had some nvde NPCs previously after adding Immersive Armors midgame, but then it's fixed by using disable/enable, but that doesn't help in this case (and I've had IA from the start this time). When checking with TES5Edit, I have no mod changing either Jon Battle-Born or the ArmorIronNoHelmetOutfit entry. Also, I've only seen males affected by this. Has anyone an idea what might cause this?

EDIT: Turned out it was caused by Schlongs of Skyrim - Light.esp, which I can live without.
