What happened to the forum? I see RP's that aren't even 2 years old only having 30 posts in each thread if they made it past one thread. Why did the forums magically condense and delete almost every thread of the past?

Edit: I find it odd that this wasn't done in the past and is now recently being done. The forum used to delete entire threads, not it just trims them all and it's honestly really disappointing.

It' happens periodically. The IT folks delete old, unused topics and accounts to make room on the server.

Yeah but do topics ever get mass-compressed?

Those both made it to 200 posts. They are now compressed in a very strange fashion...

Ah. Can't say. That's new to me. Unless someone asked for it, I don't understand a moderator and/or IT person going to the trouble.

That's what I was thinking...I figured it was some type of glitch.

Might be they have an algorithm that removes topics and post? Seems pretty wasteful to have humans manually delete old topics.
