Is this feasible......

I am currently modding a town for Skyrim, Old Hroldan. That joins with the Old Hroldan inn, after all Talos shouted down the gates of Old Hroldan and won a great victory there, but obviously the town itself went AWOL somewhere along the line.

Anyway, my town is a haven for all races in Skyrim. I would like one particular resident to be an old Dunmer called Nasdren, who escaped the explosion of Red Mountain with his argonian servant. My idea is...

... that Nasdren escaped the volcano, then gave the servant his freedom when the argonians revolted and attacked the Dunmer in Morrowind, but the old argonian servant refused to leave his master. That it was the argonian servant who got his master to safety, pretending that he was the master and that Nasdren was the servant in order to make it past the argonian invaders. They ended up in Skyrim, in my town and the argonian has refused to leave his master, even though Nasdren has given him his freedom so many times. They are two old friends now, with the old argonian still caring for his master.

So my questions are....how feasible is this?

*I have no idea how long argonians live. Given that the Red Mountain blew 200 years ago, is it feasible that the argonian servant would still be alive?

*When did the argonians invade Morrowind? Does that part of my story fit the timeline?

It's not just feasible, it actually has a clear precedent. Divayth Fyr had an Argonian slave whom he freed but who refused to leave, so he kept him on as a paid retainer.
