this games a broken pice junk

Post » Wed Jul 09, 2014 10:48 pm

1st I have 3 quests that will not complet at all im fine with that but now every time I go up the ladder in fort frostmoth the game freezes or if I try to leave the room my guy turns white and then frozen they need to fix this buggy game..

I cant belive the game company even let them put this on to the xbox with such little testing the game is unplayable if you got downloaded content it freezes up every 10 or so mins don't matter what your doing just walking down the road and bam frozen.

feel like they should tested this a bit more before releasing it. time to toss this pice junk in the trash cause now I cant even play my guy with out the content because I have items from it so it fails to load and no error codes to help me pin point a fix.

Are you sure the disc isn't scratched?

When I played on Xbox it rarely crashed. I didn't have much minor bugs and I only had 2 or 3 major bugs.

it has to be the download content because I played all the way threw with no problems then I got the dlc and all of a suden I cant go 10 to 30 mins with out a crash. and of course they wont admit to it so you cant get your money back. im sad because this is "was" my favorite game hands down one of the best I ever played

It's not the game -it's your console that can't take the sheer amount of awesomeness

Seriously, I would've been been angry too -heck, I was angry till the community fixed it -at least the pc version... But, I love the damn thing, even when I hate it.

Sorry you're having trouble. My PS3 version was pretty smooth since I figured out how to keep it relatively stable.

Weird. Back when I was playing on the 360 I only had the Dawnguard DLC but never had any issues.

I'm on Xbox and I have all of the DLC. My game freezes when I have too many save files, but aside from that it's fine.

Have you installed Skyrim to your hard drive?

How big's your save file? Is the main problem freezing? Because that can occur quite a bit when the save you play on is bloated with ten or more megabytes.

OP, I hope you fix your problem. I play on the PC so can't really help with xbox problems.

But a comment on the "bugginess" of the game. I've found the game amazingly free of bugs, even when it was first released. In fact it's one of the least buggy games I've played. Even after official and unofficial patches Oblivion seems much more buggy than Skyrim. And I'm referred to both crashes, and quest bugs.

I play the game on PS3 and I've never had any problems with it. My brother owns the game on X-Box 360 and he's never once had any issues with it. Maybe you just got a bad used copy of the game. If you have the disc buffed out or resurfaced; that should take care of some of your issues with the game.

I can only speak to the PC version. I have the game + all DLC + almost a score of mods and find the game quite trouble free. I only recently added the unofficial patch mods - I do think they help, but my game was playing well even before then. It almost sounds like your hardware maybe?

I played on Xbox with all DLCs for months with no problems other than the rare freeze. I cleared my game cache before each session, never used autosaves or overwrote old saves, kept my number of save files in the Skyrim folder low (by moving older files to a thumb drive), and cleaned up weapons and other clutter to cut down on the file size, but none of that detracted from the gameplay for me.

Has your game been buggy from the start? How big is your save file? Do you use autosaves? How many save files do you have in the game folder? Have you cleared the game or system cache?

I couldn't even play past a certain point because of the bugginess. It's been fixed now. Sorry OP, unless you're on PC, the community can't help much with console issues.

I can and still do play the game I got in 2011 on my old xbox playing old saves without pretty much any noticeable bugs and barely any crashes. its something to do with xbox or your game.

Did I miss the memo that this forum is for the master race only?

same here

If you fill your game up with garbage then it will run like garbage....storing unwanted items in dead bodies instead of just dropping them on the ground helps.
