CTD upon looking at the map.

Ok, so I decided to play Skyrim again for the first time in ages as i found an awesome looking Game of Thrones mod (GoT Adaptations, it looks awesome), but every time I press the map button the game crashes to the desktop. I have no idea why. I've diabled all mods, verified files (I'm playing on PC) and the problem still persists. The game worked fine the last time I played, and I don't think there's been any updates since the legendary update which happened a while beore I stopped playing.

While we're at it. does anybody know why certain games of mine might be crashing to the desktop for literally no reason? Half-Life 2, Wolfenstein: The New Order & Skyrim to name three. I say literally no reason because the game will just close with no error message at all, and if I open up the game and get back to the point where itn crashed, the game will allow me to progress past that same point with no problem. Skyrim was the worst for this by far when I played in fullscreen mode, but now I have a program that forces games to go into bordlerless windowed mode and Skyrim is a lot more stable, but it and other games will still crash for no reason. Is there a fix, or any way to find out why this happens, because it's so far beyond infuriating at this point?

The only thing i can thing off to try, is a clean boot: http://helpdeskgeek.com/windows-7/perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows-7/

Disable your antivirus if you have one, and disable UAC *** as well. (for testing purpose)
