When talking to a npc the sound usually cuts out "voice only" I can hear the music still playing in the background so it's not all sound that cuts out only the voice.

I am running windows xp with a nvidia 8800 gts 512. I use onboard sound from my asus mobo.

Any settings I can change to correct this issue?
