I'm sorry to hear that. Great band, I saw them live 3 times and remember my ears ringing for days afterwards. R.I.P

I just saw this while having my morning coffee this morning. I love the Ramones!

If I still drank, I'd toss one back (spilling a swallows worth on the ground for Tommy.....a tradition me and friends have when someone dies. "One for them" sorta thing.) in his honour. But I don't drink any more.

I remember when I saw them play at the Hammersmith Odeon in London someone in the crowd threw a full beer can at Joey Ramones head. Unlike the prima donnas of today who would have left the stage and had a tantrum, he simply picked it up, opened it and necked it in one before crushing the can and throwing it back into the crowd! While this was going on they didn't even miss a beat.

I heard about that awesomeness!! So punk rock/hard core!!!

Great band, sad passing.
