» Sun Jul 13, 2014 10:40 am I've reinstalled Skyrim multiple times, and every time I end up getting terrible save bloat, along with script lag and tons of general wonkiness. I've tested it out (using new games) with and without several script-involved mods, and invariably my saves always grow to absurd sizes. I'm at my wits end. I've messed with a few things now, so I'll start yet another new game (at this rate I can speak along to the Helgen sequence) but I'll post my load order anyway at the bottom of this post.
Are there any popular mods that are known to cause save bloat for some people?
I know it's caused primarily by errant scripts, but can having multiple script-heavy mods that are stable on their own cause problems?
Could it be some crazy incompatibility? This is where my load order comes in handy, but I'm not sure it's even possible for mods to misinteract in a way that causes bloating.
What other than scripts can cause bloating? Timescale tweaks? Ini tweaks? Frequently reloading saves? A really low-performance laptop? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15123/?, even?
Here's my load order. I've used almost all of these mods without issues in the past, although maybe not in this configuration. I've tried uninstalling mods that I suspected might be involved, but the game seems to bloat regardless.
