Playing Skyrim... Again! Anyone else?

Post » Sun Jul 13, 2014 10:32 pm

So after playing skyrim for about 200 hours on my PS3 I got bored of the game. But now that it's summervacation and I don't have anything to do I decided to buy Skyrim on my not so very good laptop because I prefer PC over any console. Surprisingly enough the game runs pretty O.K. on the lowest settings! Yay! So this means I will have to start from the beginning again, which is actually kind of fun.

Anyone else recently started over? Love to hear about it

I've been playing the game off and on, but I never really left either. I got this level 30+ Dark Elf thief who hasn't even started a main/side quest. Bounty hunting and dungeon diving all the way for her.

I pretty much lost all my characters on both Skyrim and Oblivion thanks to my habit with saving, which is now gone.

So I have plenty of space to start again on them.

I'm playing Oblivion right now. But I'll be back to Skyrim again soon. I tend to cycle through these games: Morrowind, then Oblivion, then Skyrim, then Fallout 3, then back to Skyrim, ect, ect.

Again? I've played since release! Sure I play other games but damn if skyrim doesn't just draw me back in every time.

Been there done that at least 4 times. I'm ready for something new. I sure wish Big B would do some hiring this 4,5,6 year wait between games needs to change.

Too bad Big Z took all the profits from Skyrim to make Elder Scrolls Online. Poor B has to start all over now. Hopefully Fallout 4 will make them more money and not go into an online MMO game. :P

Seriously now. just starting Fallout 3 again. Played a big play session, then went back for Skyrim for a bit when I didn't want a wasteland field.

Forgot how great Skyrim is.

I've tried to get back into Skyrim but after 4-5 hours I always stop and restart a new character. I currently just bored of the game. I might have to try a unique roleplay but I'm not sure if that will solve my problem.

I've left and come back to the game so many times I've lost count. I'm currently back playing a male Nord. Not surprisingly, most of my most memorable characters were Nords, only this time they're not murderous bastards you'd never want to meet in a dark alley. How long this character lasts, is anybodies guess. Entirely possible I'll get tired of Skyrim next week and forget all about it for another 6 months, but for now I'm having fun and trying not to dwell on the games shortcomings.

Just got back into Skyrim again recently and have been having a ball roleplaying characters that are not the dragon born, it really puts a whole different perspective on surviving. Loving it so far and it has inspired my modding again, I even have picked up a town that I lost interest in modding over a year ago. My modder's block is finally gone, and I have almost finished that town now. Of course a brand new computer that plays at max settings helps, Skyrim is a whole different world now, compared to how it ran on my ancient Dell computer. Skyrim is the first Elder Scrolls game that I have played as much as modded, it really is a brilliant game.

Haven't really left the game yet. Doing a rather strange playthrough atm, to find Skyrim's breaking point -and discover dialogue lines I've missed during the process

I'm back after six months.

Playing an Orc, planning an Argonian and possibly restarting my Nord vampire simply because it's been so long I don't feel motivated to pick up from the middle.

I'm waiting for my next paycheck so I can set my computer back up, and all I can think about is getting back into Skyrim. Its been over 8 months since I've touched it. I'm also debating blowing off 3 years of dust from my Fallout 3 case and giving that a go again... I'm not sure though.

Took a year away from it for a massive work project, but now I'm running 2 new characters and writing out stories as I go.

If I can manage to mod some defences (walls, towers, weapons, guards etc.) for Lakeview, then I hope to start a new character to play alongside Chadric. He'll be a Nord who wont be Dragonborn. Instead he'll unwittingly be an enemy of Dragonborn. He'll also eventually have his own unique group of followers. Together they'll be a bit less wholesome than Chadric's group, to say the least. They'll be the mercenary types, and will be more likely to play dirty to achieve their goals. They'll live in the same reality as Chadric, but none of them will meet him until long after the defeat of Alduin.
