So I stupidly saved over a default script and broke it, is there anyplace I can get a package of the scripts as they ship, or should I just re-install?

Just delete, and then validate the CK (if mem. serves -- might be Skyrim itself), and it should re-download the right script; I also think there's copies kept in the .bsa files, if you wanted to extract them.
