IDK what happened but all of a sudden anyone wearing an imperial cuirasses...the armor is gone but so is the tors so it looks like a npc with no chest or anything and it only happens to npc with the imperial cuirasses is there a way to fix it

Are you using a body replacement mod - EVE, Exnem, Roberts etc?

afaik is that missing meshes produce a yellow star, written on it something like "oops, here is a mash missing".

pls make a picture and up it, so it is possible to take a look at it. :shrug:
