It pays you in pennies for doing tasks that take a few seconds. Can it be mind-numbing? no doubt, but it can also pay about the equivalent of a minimum wage job in some places (provided you continuously do tasks for the hour).
You're making so many assumptions, I've had a decent amount of interviews so these jobs aren't totally out of my reach but I can't be bothered to debate this so I'm just going to agree to disagree...
I'm a cynical cold and even a reticent person, I don't mix well with others but seriously straight off the bat you are cynical and dismissive saying you wouldn't sugar coat what you said or that life svcks.I believe in attempting to be courteous to others I get not everyone is me with my ideals but you should also be aware that not everyone is you that always thinks life svcks, that's saying a lot for me to say it I'm someone that is prone to depression (because of my own warped issues) but to come out with blanket statements saying life svcks is borderline toxic...
Anyway we shouldn't discuss this further it's asking to get this thread locked.
As for a general update I'm just going to apply for part-time or temporary jobs further afield and see what happens. Also I'll do whatever surveys I get as well...
Edit:
I'll look into the AM turk as well. Thanks for the help folks!
Yeah, what do poor people need to look nice for anyway? Little Jane wants to look nice for a job interview or a date? [censored] her, you need cash!
Also what's the minimum payout threshold for the AM turk?
Lol, us poor people probably need money more than we need designer clothes.
I tried to get into mechanical turk. They seem to only take americans, from what I read online. So if you're from elsewhere it may not work for you
