I voted yes. I really don't have any reason to say no to it, but do whatever you feel is less trouble to deal with in the end.

I suppose so. Really it comes down to how much more the USKP is going to be added to, surely it must be somewhere close to approaching 'completeness' (or at least, the end of support). I'd hate to see someone miss out on something critical, but then all of those kinds of issues would be fixed by now (if they were possible to be fixed at all).
I'm indifferent then. Either way, I'll just be grateful that USKP is sitting in my load order.
Anyone who feel they're *forced* to use all DLC's patches are not actually being forced, because they want a stable less buggy game and that's different otherwise they always have the option to install or uninstall any DLC patch(s) they like if anyone wishes to do so.
As it is today no one are being forced to use all Unofficial Skyrim Patches including the Unofficial Skyrim DLC Patches. And it's up to its user to decide about what DLC I want to use or what USKP-DLC patch I want to use or need.
If there were a single USKP esm/esp then people will be more or less forced to use all DLC and I don't like that one bit.
Speaking as a user, I would like to see the UOP Patches become one unified file, less entries in the load order for one.
However, a number of people delay activation or even outright do not install Dawnguard because of the impact it has on the Vanilla Game World. By making the UOP one file, then care needs to be taken with regards to missing Dawnguard content. Perhaps a configuration menu could be offered that would delay the DG content until some time later in the game (like after the MQ or some other trigger). This way people could install DG, use the Unified UOP and be happy.
They can still choose not to use the patch - which is basically the same choice you claim people who own all the dlcs have (either install all the files or deal with a buggier game).
I already answered on afk mods community forum, but I make a copy-paste here just to bring my arguments to those that don't go there.
No, definetly, and exactly because of all pre-told arguments. And I'll even add another huge one : merging all patches will completely reorder/reaffect all added references with new IDs (whatever types they are). This will probably completely ruin and bloat existing savegames relying on the old ones. I guess you all know very well the Elder Scrolls players community... And what do you think will happen ?
Someone asked what would be impacted by the switch to a unified file. Since Nexus is the only place I know of where this data can be accessed readily (for those who have marked it) I'll post what's available from there.
The list of USKP dependencies is irrelevent because the filename for that would not be changing. Which would eliminate issues with 62 files according to the Nexus data.

I voted yes.
Ultimately, I can't see any practical reason not to have all the DLC's - the UPP can't be made to accommodate individual taste if it's going to cause the team to have a collective breakdown.
Voted no. I think segregating users is a good enough reason in itself to never do this, nevermind the other plethora of potential issues that have already been brought up.
I have all DLCs installed. A legendary edition would simpllfy installing and updating for me. But my vote is a wholeheartedly "No". Separate Files imho will be the best option giving the best control for playing. There are mods I would like to play with but are not compatible with i.e. one DLC like hearthfire. That's not a problem in the moment.
A legendary edition would reduce my options for other mods to those which are compatible to all DLCs. That would be a restriction I don't like.
I would say that, if the move is to a unified patch, to keep up the original individual patches, but have a warning that the original patches are no longer supported/updated, and to use the unified patch if they want more fixes.
This should really only be a consideration once the Unofficial Patches are "complete", or at least any major bugs that can be fixed are fixed. Once you reach that point, having a single Legendary patch and then leaving the individual patches as optional/old files would be the most prudent course of action. In the meantime, is it possible for a Legendary patch that only includes the fixes between multiples DLCs?
Definitely this. Once the individual patches are at a point where you can consider them "complete", or at least as complete as possible, a unified patch should be made.
edit: Mayhaps a patch for vanilla Skyrim, and then a patch that covers all of the DLCs collectively?
We could go another three years and still have updates to the USKP and it's DLC equivalents. Things are still being fixed on Oblivion and that released how many years ago? Aside from the gigantic mess that is the Civil War quest-line, the majority of major bugs have been squashed.
I say move to a unified patch by the end of the year, Skyrim is almost three years old.
I voted yes, based on Arthmoor saying that it would be less hassle for the dev team to maintain only one patch as opposed to three. My humble opinion: You guys are providing a tremendous and invaluable service to the community for free - anything that makes your work easier instead of harder is a definite plus in my view, even if it makes things slightly more complicated for me - because I am only leeching off of your efforts anyway.
I voted "No" because I am of the same sentiment of Nico above in the first post of Page 2. There are still lingering elements of people not implementing the new 2.X load order, and people still who do not understand the new rules about "Clean Saves" for Skyrim. To do something as drastic as unifying them all would be a support nightmare because of RTFM problems.
Also, I am of the opinion that leaving the partial-DLC-set people out in the cold isn't worth it.
These problems they cause outweigh the solutions they offer, in my opinion.
