» Fri Jul 18, 2014 7:31 am I have an issue with certain magical items that my char can't temper, even though she has the necessary perks. She has the arcane blacksmith perk and can temper other magical items. Two examples are Dawnbreaker and Volendrung, which she can't temper even with the ebony and arcane perks, but I've had the issue with other items as well. I've checked both Volendrung and Arcane Blacksmith (Artisan in Skyre) with all mods loaded in TES5Edit, but can't see anything suspicious (or, rather, Skyre_Main.esp changes a lot with the arcane perk, but even if I change that back to vanilla settings I have the same issue).
I suspect that it has something to do with Skyre or one of its patches as it is the major mod (besides ASIS) that I've added since my last playthrough, but I'm stumped as I don't know what to check for. Is it some feature in Skyre I don't know about? It's bordering on game breaking as it seems pointless to acquire cool magical items if I can't temper them. What can it be?
