I recently became able to smith Dragonscale....in my personal taste i like my Glass armor appearance better than my Dragonscale armor....i think im gonna get my Glass armor back out...Ive always liked the way Glass armor looks way back in Morrowind.What do you think?

since with perks you can max out the actual defense rating using fur armor, go with looks.

Pick whatever you like the look of.
Pick whatever suits your character.
Pick whatever fits the character build.

Armour rating doesn't matter.

Maybe you should try this: Put the dragonscale armour on, leaving out the gauntlets, and instead use glass gauntlets. Then, put on a hood; I recommend the Nightingale one. Use a glass shield and a dragonbone sword. That will look pretty damn cool methinks.

Agreed, my thoughts exactly. I never choose armour on its rating, only on how it looks on my characters if they actually wear it.

I think they both look like garbage but that doesn't matter. It's your game and your character so you should pick whatever suits them best.

I prefer the elven armor retextured so its dark/close to black. Forget which modder put that out though

Dragonscale looks better to me but that's just my opinion and Dragonbone looks like Flinstones armor or something.

My simple answer would be a matter of role play.

Personally I'd say glass for an Elven or Aldmeri race and Dragonscale for a Nedic race.

Agreed. Once the Armor Rating cracks 567, it's already protecting you as well as anything can. You could get it up to 20,000; it wouldn't matter.
