Help me out with my new char!

Hi guys,

I need some help creating a story arc for my new character, a nord pure mage who discovers he is actually Dragonborn. During his adventures he joins the College of Winterhold and becomes the Archmage himself. But on his path to becoming archmage he stumbles across the necromancer's amulet which corrupts his spirit. He now dabbles in necromancy and conjuration magic (he used destruction and alteration spells from the start).

Now here's the problem, there's a mod out there which focuses on necromancers, its called Undeath (you can become a powerful undead Lich at the end of the questline. But there's also Dawnguard and Ive only played the dawnguard side on my first character and I want to experience the Volkihar side too.

Question is, I don't want to start another char to be a vampire especially, I want my next char to be a pure Thief.

So what path should I choose to go? vampires(which already use necromancy) or Undeath which focuses on becoming the best necromancer there is.

I won't play both, two transformations would make me look out of place and overpowered.

Thanks

In this situation I'd go with becoming a Lich for your Necromancer. Being a vampire compliments a thief roleplay for your next character.

*Undeath is a fantastic mod

Thanks for the reply, why do you think a vampire would benefit a thief?

Um because they prefer the darkness and get sneak bonuses if I remember correctly.
