I'm debating whether to get it on pc, or 360. PC doesn't have multiplayer on Doom 1 or 2 and I really wanted to do multiplayer. But ive heard that the console versions are buggy or not patched? Recommendations?

On PC you already get multiplayer thanks to http://zandronum.com/ that allow for an experience beyond what the console mp in Doom1-2 will give you. You will also get more customization for the games and, if you really need them, mods that will keep you playing for ages (including tons of multiplayer maps of course).

I see no reason to get it on 360 unless it is actually the only way you game.
