There's something I found odd when you trap yourself in Dustman's Cairn during Proving Honor. One of the Silver Hand states that it doesn't matter which companion Farkas is because if he wears that armor, he dies. I would assume they mean the wolf armor, since they are werewolf hunters and all but Farkas doesn't wear wolf armor, he wears steel. I know they know some of the Companions are werewolves but still.

Just a lazy mistake made by someone. lol

Thanks to mods, it's fixed on the PC version.
